6SR: Santelli, feat. Limbaugh @ CPAC
The fire has been lit!
This is an audio extract of the two main events that have lit a fire under the base of the conservative movement over the past weekend (Feb 28th). The first was a spontaneous stump speech given by Rick Santelli, after hours on Friday the 28th at the Chicago Board of Trade.
The second is a rousing and entertaining speech given by Rush Limbaugh at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) on Saturday the 29th. You may be interested to know that even through I checked two sources -- youtube videos and the official video from C-SPAN -- I was unable to find one without his famous impersonation of a certain US Representative from Massachusetts. That routine has apparently been stricken from the record and censored in most sources. Near the end of the speech (81:00) is the now famous "If the President wants socialism, then yes I want the president to fail" quote.
